Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How Do I Get Free Month Of Xbox Live Gold?

    Got an Xbox for Christmas and haven't been able to get my free month of Xbox Live Gold. Can someone please outline the steps of getting it?

    Sign up for xbox live on your xbox

    When asked what kind of subscription you want...pick silver
    On the next page it will automatically give you a months gold

    Think thats what happens anyway

    I had a live account from Games for Windows so I just used that on my xbox too. In the box I saw a thing for gold for 48 hours but nothing for a free month:(

    It only works for new gamertags and gamertags created on the console. And it is as simple as Ciano1 said. If you created a tag on Xbox.com and then signed in on the console you wont get the free month.

    If you like you can try again with another email address and sign up for a new gamertag and do as Ciano1 said and it will give you the free month. Each console can be used four times for new accounts and avail of the free month each time.
