Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scolari's sides really don't like defending set pieces do they. Not surprised we drew. You take off a player who was playing brilliant. You bring on Kalou, who did nothing and you get what you deserve.

chelsea away at arsenal, villa, spurs, man utd and liverpool in the new year. if they win the title this year they will have gone about it the hard way

if they finish top 2 now they will be doing well imo

It will be a tough one for them. United have Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa all home I think.

Away at Spurs? Is that supposed to be a difficult one?

Chelsea have a decent record at both Anfield and OT so I wouldn't be too concerned. All of the top 4 are going to continue to drop points, I would predict. I don't think anyone looks like going on this mythical "run" that most people seem to think is necessary to win the league. The league will be won over the course of the whole season anyway, not just the second half.

Didn't see a lot of the game, due to the feed I was watching being ****e. But I have heard in a few places that Joe Cole was disappointing. That said, I don't rate Kalou as anything more than a squad player, and if both Anelka and Drogba are on the pitch, I really can't see any circumstances in which he should be needed.

Probably not, Fulham (9th) are 6-3-1 to Spurs' (16th) 3-4-4 at home, although maybe they will prove to show a slight improvement under Redknapp. Either way, this is why I would say that if Chelsea win it, they'll have won it on points collected over both halves of the season, not one half.

The league would be fairly shíte if you could win it with 57 points!!! :pac:

:pac::pac::pac: The point, as I suspect you know already, is that 3 points collected from a game in March is the same as 3 points collected in October. :D

We are in real cocks in the custard territory right now, if we'd got 4 points from the last two games I wouldn't be worried, but losing to WBA (and Newcastle before that) who have to be seen as fellow relegation-battle strugglers, and a mere point at home to Fulham suggests we will be fighting for survival right up to the end of the season.

I suspect 44 points may be needed to stay up, which means 8 wins from our remaining 18 games...

I hope Levy is loosening the purse strings.
