Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've a Black Diamond 32" telly and a surround sound system with a sub.
what's the safest distance I can have it ? Is leaving it on the ground beside the stand that the telly is on safe ? I'm guessing having it behind the telly ain't safe. there's not much cable on it, there's maybe 4ft and the way the room and telly is (it's in a corner) I can't really have the cable stretching along the either wall

That's an old wives tale :) All devices are shielded so it doesn't really matter.

It says on the speaker that it's not magnetically shielded so you should not place it near a television.

I don't think it's an old wives tale as I used to have a dvd wired into a big speaker beside a telly and gradually blotches started to show up on the screen. At first it wasn't that noticeable, it was just a red spot on the top right hand corner. As time went on the blotch got bigger and became more discoloured. If I turned the telly off for 10mins say it would go away, sometimes it'd come straight back other times it wouldn't come back for a week.
