Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Try and search the registry for the name of your application. i.e. "solid works"
Chances are you will find your key.

basically .. you are fooked. No real way back that avenue, however do a google search for something "name of application" + serial , that ur best avenue at this moment... you might be lucky

just go back to school and request your serial again. you really should keep those in your gmail or something.

    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Download and run that on the PC with the serial. It will show you all your serial keys etc. I use it pre formatting any pc I have to get me all the Office etc serial keys.

It will produce a local web page with all the results but you can save it to somehwere for future reference.

I just re read and noticed it is now a seperate drive. I thought he had it back in the PC.

Sorry OP! Belarc only works off a working c drive.

    Maybe try http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/faq.shtml

It seems looking at the FAQ you can search a slave drive.

Q: Can I retrieve the product key from a non-booting Windows installation?
As long as both Windows versions are 2000, XP, 2003, or Vista, you can use the Load Hive function. You will have to slave the drive and point the Keyfinder to the non-booting Windows directory.
