corsa distributor cap

    really need quick help with this
    i have a loan of a 94 1.2 corsa that needed the distributor cap replaced, got one today and 99% sure i put the leads on as i took them off
    but it wont start, anyone know the order they go on
    thanks for any replies

    Make sure that the center part of the rotor arm is touching the centre terminal in the distributor or you could try putting back on the old one and see if it works...

    According to this website (http://www.economy-point.org/opel-corsa/p1.htm) the firing order is 1-3-4-2, so if you know which way the distributor turns you should be able to verify that the leads are in the correct sequence...

    thanks i found that site for the firing order, i had them in the right order but had to move each lead 90 degrees clockwise if that makes sence

    Yep that makes sense, the order was correct but were out of phase by one cylinder...

    Is she running ok now?
