    Unable to make any Saturday but when we get closer to Barca I'd be up for it on a Sunday if there's any interest.

    Absolutely! I'll be doing back to back long runs by then (conn prep), so it would be handy to have a group both days.

    Guys just to let you know there's an 8 mile race starting on Furze Road at 10 and heading up S bends etc so you may want to avoid that route. I don't think the field is that big though!

    We might run down by it for a look, just out of curiosity. Anytime i run a race in the park there's always runners out for a jog in the opposite direction of the route.

    I have been talking to a few people about getting a weekly track session going. We can cope for all speeds as recovery will be a rest. Faster runners will get a slightly longer rest :pac:

    You might see me tomorrow night but only if:

    1. I can get out of work on time;
    2. The weather is not horrendous.

    Very little valuie in training then week before a race and getting soaked will do more harm than any good from the session.

    No, I took a shortcut in the park and cut straight through to Foster's Avenue.

    With all of the 'hitting the wall' talk for a marathon, how do people run 40/50 miles?
