Bit confused now, is it Sat or Sun

Our one is saturday, there's another one on sunday. I'm a group run Hoor. I'll take anything that's going.

Hoping to keep it between 4:20 to 4:30/km (around 7:10/mile I think) or as much I can anyway. I'll come along on Sat, hopefully there won't be multiple bunches of runners hanging around the cross when I get there :)

Haha 7.10 snap. upto 11 on monday in the bad weather. You going for 3.10?

Well that's the hope anyway, the main target is to go under 3.15, anything else will be a bonus :)

Either. the 16 mile people will start at 10 and loop back after 3 to pick up the 13 milers (chinguetti). That said if you are doing 13 you can start at 10am too if that makes sense.

I might do 13 and start at 10am (on Sunday)

Basically we will jog up to Bournabreena church as warm up then start reps there and can go for as long as you want (my session is 80 second hills but you can do shorter or longer if you want) then jog back down to the start recovery to regroup. The idea of these is to try and work on form rather than burst yourself sprinting up though they are hard. Even if you wanted to take longer recovery and do every second one as i plan on hitting 10 of them. Again its about adapting the session to suit you to get the most benefit out of it but it is a good session and can bring people on leaps and bounds

Sounds good to me, count me in.

I might head down an hour earlier to start at 10am and come back to the car park around 5 to 11 to meet up with everyone.

Get some hill training in by running up and down the walkways
    (the wrong way, naturally)

Clara Lara may have to do the first 3 alone so. I have an appointment for pints in town later on and not sure I'll be up for an early run.

Oops I underestimated how long it would take me to get there from Ballybrack so arrived around 15 mins late :o

On a more positive note it was a great day for a run & really enjoyed going randomly around the park, not sure if I actually passed ye or not don't think I saw any big groups on my travels.

We waited for 5, sorry. There were 4 of us in the end, 3 in high vis jackets!

It might be a good idea on these runs to post up at least some of the planned route in advance - and maybe make it something really easy like "from car park up Chesterfield to Castleknock, cross road and back down to the zoo, then around behind the zoo back to Chesterfield"
Any late arrivals could figure out where to join in.

We used to do that but you end up with suggestions, leading to choices, leading to stress. Maybe whoever posts the group run should map the first hour?
