So whats the story regarding tickets for the train? Would it be wise that we book tickets in a group?

I'm happy to book them all as soon as they come on sale (28th February). That way we will get seast together.
I'll just need ye all to confirm you are going. We should get them for €20 return if I get in early enough. I will need everyone who is going to confirm by PM with their name. I'll send a PM out closer to the time.

Just remember you're competing with the weekend commuters of which there are a lot, trust me. I always avoided sunday evenings trains where possible cause they were always too dear. I'd be surprised if there was 10 euro fares for the way back, deffo on the way down alright. Clocks change the night before too remember.

Thats perfect, as I need to be doing some hill stuff for Conn. Let me figure out logistics about getting to and from there before formally saying yes :)

Aren't you supposed to be taking it easy for the next few days? And doing long runs for a marathon anyway? tut tut tut, bad kirby

Don't worry, Meno will cover the difference, so that's €20 a head! :D:pac:

Tapering = reducing the distance but keeping the intensity. we still need a bit of intensity to keep us sharp. In fact most programmes contain a race or two in the taper period. Getting a nice short sharp run in can be a confidence booster without the risk of a long LSR.

Seems to be that I am doing it every second week as I have been racing every other week so can only go once every two weeks
