MrSlow even once brought a bunch of weirdos off the internet along to a few of our runs. Oh wait....

I think 9:30 will be excrutiating for them. As I said might do one lap with them second with you guys, not sure I'll be up to their pace on Sunday after intervals tomorrow.

    Feckin elitists.
No harm but if they are gonna go that fast, then it is not wise for you as part of an LSR.

My weekend plans have just been cancelled - so anyone around and any plans for a long run in the park Saturday or Sunday?

Whichever suits as I'm off. The plan says 4 miles 'fast' but seeing as i have a longer run than planned the next morning 5x 1k @7 will do. I mightn't do the full 10 though so can we do the fast k's in the firts 6 miles?

That's right, the one weekend when I won't be up for a long run at all and you don't do it at the crack of dawn.

Be honest would it make a difference if the run started outside your house at 3 o'clock on any given Saturday?

Yes, I'd go if I could be bothered! :)

I do usually want to go I'm just too lazy when it comes to getting out to it and then I regret it when I end up going for a crappy, shorter run later in the day. :pac:

I see you're all ditching me for the better and more attractive speed option now?! Charming!! Well I won't bother saying hello when I pass yee at my sad 9.30pace.

I will probably be knocking around the park. I do, after all, have a new tshirt that needs breaking in! :D

Sure come along and Join in. We'll be doing 3 or 4 very light before and we'll just do the 1k reps back and forth at the back of the pitches at the end of acres Rd. Have a go at them at your own pace (we'll take rests in between), it'll be agood intro to speed training for your 10k.
