So plans for a long run this sunday???

I am running in the sportsworld race on saturday I think but I would be up for a run on sunday.... *chances of me being there before 10/10.15 are slim unless I get a left as I am out in templogue.

Myself and Mr Slow are doing 20 on sunday. You're problem is that the sportsworld race is on Sunday too (not saturday).

    Sportsworld 5 is on Sunday…
Also, I’m sorry, but me being a pedant and having been educated in the fine ladies institute of Templeogue, I can’t but feel the need to correct your spelling… Just one more ‘E’ and I’ll be happy! :o:)

According to this: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056263559 The park is closed for parking from 10 days starting the 15  We should still be able to run through it, but we'll have to find a different meet up point. Maybe Chapelizod villiage by the shops?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,554 ✭✭✭Mr Slow

Just rang them, we can still run it.

It's pay and display in Chapelizod and finding a space is not that easy. White's road is normally ok for parking, I'm waiting on a fax from them to say which gates are affected and will revert!

  • Registered Users Posts: 570 ✭✭✭Perkina3

Aye I will be at UCD myself today as well! Heres hoping for 18.15 but don't hold ur breath

Pretty sure it's ok on a sunday, but I'm easy about where to meet. I doubt you'll be able to park on whites rd given it's proximity to farmleigh...

Parking is normally fine on the main Chapelizod Rd. too. Another option is the to park at the pub near the Ashtown gate.

Remember we meet in teh car park above the track at 18:15 and go for a jog aroun campus. We don't get onto the track until after 18:30... Also, ask Aimman for a lift home today, he lives in Walkinstown and doesn't bite ;)

Feckin Queen, I didn't care about her coming until now!

As I said to you guys verbally on Sunday, I wont be there tonight.

Just in door from playing golf on very hilly course with bro in law [made more fun with very strong wind!] and my legs are utterly wrecked :)

From this side you could always park in Ballyfermot/Chapelizod and run from there. There's parking on the Chapelizod Hill Road and St. Laurences Road, don't think either of them are pay and display though I could be mistaken. Will check today/tomorrow when I'm running by.

Thanks but I'd rather not have to walk home after 22 miles :D

I'll be racing on the Sunday aswell, I think Aimman is pacing down in Kildare on Sunday also.
I'm going to take Friday off and Saturdays run will be really easy, I just want to familiarise myself with the course and see where I can save valuable seconds :D

    :pac:
There's a potential massive shortcut across the path at the end of Templeville Road, turning left onto Wainsfort Road, but I think they had a steward there last year :D
Or you could take the left turn after Templeogue College and cut out the corner completely :D
