    Location: Phoenix Park
    Time: Saturday 9th July
    Meet: Papal Cross 9am
    Session: Options below

    Confirmed:

    Pistol_75 13 miles 5 @9:30, 8@ 9:00
    Vaggawagon 13 miles 5 @9:30, 8@ 9:00
    Claralara 13 miles 5 @9:30, 8@ 9:00
    menoscemo 5@ 9.30, 2 @9.00 8@ 7.15
    Mr Slow 3 Miles @ 9, 8@ 7.15
jcsmum 13 miles (don't mind what pace really)
    average_runner 6 miles @9-9.30, 10 miles @ 8

I just noticed that we are starting at 9am in this morning...

I wont be at the park until around 9.30 or so, as I have to let someone into the house at 9am - so could you agree on what direction you go from the car park so I can intercept you?

Or are the folks doing 16 starting at 9, and the rest of us at 9.30?

We can go the same route we started with last week. Starting down the Kyber and around the 5 mile route in reverse basically. This would bring us back to the car park for a drink or whatever before starting the PMP miles.

If your there at 9:30 you could run the route in the opposite direction and would probably meet us on the north road somewhere?

If someone has a better idea I have no problem what we do.

if you agreed to do that every week, then latecomers would always know where to meet you...

Are you going to show up for a run anytime soon?

I don't agree with running the same initial route every week, variety is the spice and all that. :)

No way man - if he picked up the spots he'd look like a teenager and people would start to accuse me of cradle snatching....

There is a section on tweaking the schedule in the book:D

Plan for me is a 9 mile LSR - oh how times have changed! - pretty much back at the beginning, so if I can scrape myself out of bed in the morning I'll join you guys for the 5 loop and that'll give me close to 10 by the time I'm there and back...

Last year I followed the Hal Higdon plan, and the only run I missed was about a week before the marathon :pac:
Sunday fits my weekly schedule better - running club Tuesday, so midweek long run Thursday, recovery Friday, Saturday rest - and it makes it easier to fit in the two run weekends in the programme...

We'll be looping back to the car park at 9.45 to pick up Mr Slow. See you there.

After seeing the course for the 10 mile race series might be good to the first 6 miles slowly tomorrow matching that course and then follow the course in full for the PMP ???

See you next Sunday then, the day after the 5 mile. We can stop every few miles to unload our stomach contents from Ryans the day before :)

So whats the post race plan for Saturday?

    Is it;

    a) head straight to ryans and stay there till we can no longer stand?
    b) head straight to ryans for an hour or 2, head home, shower and head back there, gives the lightweights a chance to bail.
    c) same as option b but head somewhere else after.

    Decisions, decisions, decisions :p
