Can I start the "but do we have to go to Ryans" complaints now? :pac:

I'll be one of the lightweights leaving after a couple of pints anyway...

After they moved the finish line closer to Ryans to accomodate us we would want to be going there now wouldnt we? :p It is tradition after all. Or are you being a splitter again? :D

So whats the post race plan for Saturday?

    Is it;

    a) head straight to ryans and stay there till we can no longer stand?
    b) head straight to ryans for an hour or 2, head home, shower and head back there, gives the lightweights a chance to bail.
    c) same as option b but head somewhere else after.

    Decisions, decisions, decisions :p

I'll have an a) please bob.

There's more to life than been in the pub all day despite the good company so i'm a (b).

How about a nice picnic though?

(Sits back and waits for abuse)

If there is a picnic, I may be tempted to bake a cake :)

Sooo back to the point of the thread...

    Location: Phoenix Park
    Time: Sunday 17th July
    Meet: Papal Cross 10am
    Session: LSR 9 - 9:30 pace

RQ - 10 miles (dependent on achilles/hamstring, if I'm not there when you get there it's because I'm not going)

10am is not going to happen. I Think more around Midday is appropriate.

I'm either 9:30/10am or 6pm, not going out at midday. Another group might be happy to join you and your hangover at midday.

    Brianderunner - 10 or 12 miles max.

I propose running the Frank Duffy 10 route, starts and finishes at the papal cross anyway so its ideal. 10am is a bit early alright after the night before, but I reckon we could all be done by 8pm so maybe its not so unrealistic.

Ok Then, Go on. I was kind of looking forward to my first lie in of the holidays and was planning on running up to the park to make up my 18. The Lie in will have to wait until monday...

RQ. It's your idea to do this at 10am, so if you don't turn up, i won't be a happy camper...

Meno are you doing 18 miles in the park? I'm due to do 18 next weekend but am in Galway on Fri night so Saturday is out and definitly don't want to run them by myself on Sunday so was thinking of this Sunday instead?

Time might suit as meant to be going to The zoo with the in laws on Sunday so might be able to swing the run as well (cue divorce proceedings :D)

Why not have a group run at 12 then. I'm happy to run on my own. :pac:

Yes, joiin up the group run (above) and I'll do the 18 with you. I am happy to do them pretty slow as I have the 5 mile race the day before...
