You are absolutely flying it... will be no bother to you. Your training is still going great even with the new arrival.

I'm due to run 18 Miles this Sunday, not been on a group run before, I'm mostly a late night runner. So long as the leg holds up and the fiance doesn't mind dropping me in the park I might try and head in for the session.

OK, let's try this again. My plan is 15 miles at about 7minutes/mile. Somewhere reasonably flattish (the Park, Roundwood reservoir, Bray to Greystones to Newcastle...) and with as few cars as possible, with the focus on steadyish pace over reasonable ground, rather than on any serious hills.

I'm pretty flexible about day and time (though ten is a better number in my book than eight...:)) and venue.

    Takers?

Starting to get back to normal in terms of training so I could be in

If by ten you mean 9 I could be in:D (have work @ 12 so 10 would be pushing it). Flexible on the location also.

Hi ecoli, I note your comments on TheRoadRunner's log. We might make a threesome, if he's/you're amenable to 7 minute pace for 12-15 (15 for me, all going well). Dunno where his BHAA event is, but happy to run anywhere within reason.

Stormy weather expected on Sunday and Monday with southwest winds gusting to between 100 and 130 km/hr - strongest in coastal counties of Connacht and Ulster.

Any reasons why ye switched from a sat to a Sunday? Any of ye switching back to a Sat after this weekend?

  • Registered Users Posts: 23 paulbn

i presume it is because of the half marathon race going on in the morning in the park.

Last week's switch was because meno was running a 10k on Saturday, Sunday happened to suit mrslow, and I always run Sunday.
Meno will be in Berlin next week, and I'll be racing Rathfarnham, but I don't think mrslow is free on Saturday...
