Location: Phoenix Park, Papal Cross (open to suggestions)
Time: Sat 17th May; flexible on start time..
Pace: Circa 9 Mins per mile
    Distance: 10-13 Miles

Back building up LSR's and wondering if anyone who still reads this thread is doing anything slow anymore, or is the world all running 7-8 min mile LSR's :)

Yeah, 'slow' is a relative term I see: my definition of 'slow' is more like 10-11 min/mile... :D
I really need to get my lazy derrière out of the house on the weekends though, and get some mileage underfoot. So yeah, I'll head to Phoenix Park on Saturday, time TBD, but definitely early-ish if the current weather prediction holds...

Wicklow Way Relay - Leg 1

Location: Kilmashogue Carpark along Wicklow Way as far as Curtlestown Wood
    Time: Sunday morning/afternoon (flexible)
    Pace: Easy
Distance: leg 1 Wicklow Way Relay - ~13kms
    Map: link

Planning a 'recce of the first leg of the Wicklow Way relay this Sunday (time flexible), from the starting point in Kilmashogue car-park, as far as Curtlestown. Can help out with pick-up/drop-off, or car-pooling. Would suit WW relay runner, or someone looking for a nice scenic hill/trail run.

    Hi Gary

Any update on the time here? I ran the first 5 miles of this last weekend, and would love to tag along, although I'm ever conscious that your and my EZ pace have very little overlap. Once my pass gets processed by management I'd be happy to help with the motor logistics.

If the weather holds it will be stunning.

Good stuff Bill. Would be great to have you along. I have a feeling that your EZ pace will be well = my EZ pace. I'm very flexible on time. Can even make it Saturday, if that makes life easier for you?

Home for the weekend and I'll probably be trying to get a run in around the park on Saturday morning, so if you're willing to slow the pace down closer to 9:30-10 min/mile for a bit I could join you for a bit?

    Sunday 10 Aug

I'm thinking of doing a 20-miler up the Royal Canal from North Strand and back on Sun if anyone interested. Would be doing around 9:40/mile for first 10 and the picking it up to about 8:40 for the second half. From about 9am.

    Sat 16th

Doing a 20 miler, flexible on pace, but somewhere around 9min pace [plus or minus 30 seconds per mile!]

Dont care about start time, as long as I know today if its 5am or 5pm. Just sick of doing them on my own :)

Was thinking of heading from central Dublin out toward sutton and back, but can travel, just would rather avoid the park [as I did 20 in there last week, and done 2 medium runs there this week] :)

Hey DRQ, will be hoping to do something along those lines on Sunday (Lakes 10k on Saturday), so if you have any flexibility to push out to Sunday, let me know.
