Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Is a gold subscription tied to the console or the gamertag and do you need a separate subscription for each gamertag on the console?

    It's tied to the Gamertag and each gamertag that you want to be able to play multiplayer games over xbox live needs it's own gold subscription .

    Thanks, Clover. Thats a bit of a pisser that each gamertag needs its own subscription.

    I take it if I upgrade my console to a 60gb my remaining subscription will transfer over with my gamertag.

    Except anything that you have previously bought will no longer work for any other gamertags on that console and will only work for the gamertag they were initially bought with when that gamertag is signed into Live.

    well does this mean that used games will be tied to the original owner and I cannot play online with them? Or am i reading it wrong? I just got GTA4 used so if this is the case i will need to take it back!!

    Won't affect games on disc.

    Does affect arcade games though. If you change the console or hard drive that you have the gamertag on then the arcade titles will only be usable by the gamertag that initially purchased them and when online.
