House Party Essentials?

    Hey guys,
We're having our first ever New Years Eve party so we're going to have the best one we can.

Beer & vodka is organised from the North ;)

For food we're going to make a trip to tesco or maybe Lidl tomorrow, for loads of wedges&chips, garlic bread, pizza's, sauces, pringles etc.

Any idea's on good cheap food? And where to get it?

After that then, its just music. I have the laptop so i might just bang a load of tunes on there and hook up some speakers.

We have the ps3 which used to be deadly cause you could get youtube on the telly and any tune you like then, but our internet is dead :(

    Any thing else? Any tips?

    Thanks guys
    John

Plenty of BIG Black plastic bags for the rubbish/empties.

A Mop handy, There will be a few spills!!

Plastic Cups for them mixers and Disposable plates so u dnt have to waste time puttin normal ones in the dishwasher, just throw em in the bin.

    LOts of orange, coke...etc

Party Poppers for the Countdown, just a bit of craic.

Remember, the louder the music, the better the party!

Plastic cups (I know they were mentioned before) but make sure they are fairly solid ones and big enough. If you can get those red or blue ones you see on American tv progs all the better!

Same goes for paper plates - solid ones.

    Thanks !!
Tomorrows shopping day and we reckon we'll go for aldi. Best of both worlds.
    There's no M&S in limerick

The usual - wedges, cocktail sausages, pizzas and whatever dips...
Thing is we only have the one medium size oven and grill and maybe 30 mouths to feed. Any idea's on preheating/microwaving food?
What we do in the rugby club is a huge pot of stew. Its ideal and fill 30 lads after training. I dont want to serve anything as crude (you know what i mean :)) as that, but any ideas along those lines? Maybe soup?
Although that might get messy. Maybe chicken curry in a big pot?

We dont want to poison anyone either ;)
