Cant connect to server. Please Help!

I downloaded Project Reality, a mod for Battlefield 2. Anytime I try to join a server, the game redirects me back to the desktop and closes the program. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be? I have Punkbuster etc enabled and I'm wrecking my brain trying to work this one out. Any help would be great! Thanks.
