Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The best I have experienced is Celtic at home in Europe. Some of the games against Rangers can also generate a bit of noise.

I have only visited one other stadium in that list that did not involve Celtic. Old Trafford in 1993-94 was a bit of a buzz.

I hear the Estadio Riazor, Depor's home stadium, is pretty mental.

I think the seating is fairly vertical so you basically get one big wall of roaring fans as opposed to a few tiers - if you get what I mean. Never been there though.

Forgot about De Kuip. This is what happened last time United went there.

Been to a fair few stadia and can honestly agree with Des, on this one - the South American stadia are the maddest but best atmospheres I've ever experienced at a football game.

Myself and my mates were lucky enough to get to the top of the table clash between Velez Sarsfield and Boca Juniors in the Bombonera - jesus it was mad. We had to bribe the local cops and a few hoods. Lucky for us, one of my mates is from Buenos Aires, otherwise we'd have been watching from the pub. You can hear the noise from the stadium about a mile before you can see the stadium. It's a small enough ground, but some noise.

We could only get tickets to the Populaire (where all the juntas are) and it was the best place to see a game. AFAIK we were the only pasty looking people in that section, but it was amazing. On the way into the ground, going up the steps, there was blood all over the walls ( puts a certain chill down your back). Best experience at a football match by a country mile. Although the game wasn't the best - Boca won 1-0 - Riquelme with a free kick the keeper should have saved.

Heres a sample of the atmosphere from the populaire (not from our game - we were told not to bring our camera's):
