I posted that yesterday (new years eve), I got it in carlow, but they had them for €20 also in kilkenny.

BTW Sendit seem to have the cheapest price for Mirrors Edge at Stg 17.89 and they are quick enough to ship.

Do sendit (like Play.com) force Irish buyers to purchase at their own Euro rate? Cos if they do, you're paying €21.49 , whereas Asda (who, contrary to the statement on their website DO actually ship outside the UK ) are charging £17.91 stg, which equals €18.65 on conversion.

Sendit ship for free to Ireland, north and south, and allow you to pay in either sterling or euro. I use sendit often.

Im sure when people first found out about this offer they bought a few and traded them in for a profit, but I say when the shops found out about it they lowered the value of a trade in of fable 2.

That may very well be the case, even though I really find it hard to believe that they gave €38.99 for it in the first place weather it be cash or credit.

I got 38.99 credit for it as I told them I got it as a gift but didn't want it..it was still sealed so they said fine
I buy loads of stuff in there anyway so maybe they were just doing me a favor.

Saw this elsewhere but anyway.
Yesterday checked argos.ie to make sure there was stock in argos Castlebar before heading over there. Said No Stock but I headed over anyway to buy other games.
Went into argos and decided to check stock of fable 2 anyway just for the heck of it. 5 copies in stock even though the website said there was none
Bought one so presumably there's four left now :pac:
