Does anyone know what rate VRT is calculated or charged on a Large Bus or Coach being imported from the UK?

The revenue site isnt very clear on this, I know minibus' have a flat rate of €50 as they are classed as commercials

I'm 99% sure it €50 for a large bus also.

I think they classify a vehicle that can carry 12 passengers as a minibus and so qualifies for the €50 VRT as does any vehicled that can carry this amount of people, those Hummer limos fall into this category.

They're category C commercials, so the €50 rate applies, don't mind the Minibus bit.

    From: http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/vrt/leaflets/vrt1.html

    VRT Category C

Examples of Category C vehicles include certain commercial vehicles, agricultural tractors and minibuses with at least 12 permanently fitted seats (11 passenger seats plus the driver's seat).
The VRT rate applicable to Category C vehicles is a flat rate of €50.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.
