    Hello all,

    Please excuse my ignorance, but I was wondering would anyone know a good place to sell a wheelchair adapted car. My sister's boyfriend's family are trying to sell a car that is wheelchair adapted. Unfortunately this is a specialist adaption, and thus is of little interest to a large percentage of the population. Would anyone know of anywhere to advertise this?

    What about one of the garage's that do these conversions. Maybe give mobility Ireland in Ashbourne a call, they might take it off ya to sell on????

    You could try one of the companies which performs the adaptations, some of them keep a number of cars in stock so may deal in second-hand cars.

    That said we've either typically moved the adaptation from one vehicle to another when trading up. Once you get on the trading ladder it becomes less of an issue buying new cars since the value of the sell is close to the cost of a new car anyway. So the market may be more limited than you might at first think.
