Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Heritage Killenard Closing?

    Forgot that I'd heard this rumour over the Christmas. Apparently they're closing the hotel in the first quarter of 2009, but keeping the golf course and club house open..

    Anyone heard any more?

    Heard the Heritage Portlaoise was closing. Again just a rumour I've no facts to back anything up.

    It's all just rumours at the moment. Hard to see it closing, if anything it'll be changing hands!

    Heard lots of rumours about Killenard recently, but in the main I'd class most of it as "pub talk". I think it would be safe to say that this "boutique hotel" like many others of its type will be experiencing very difficult times ahead. Ireland just doesn't have enough high net worth individuals to keep all these up market hotels going.....

    Nothing worth elaborating on as its all pure speculation with no hard facts or details to back any of it up! Like the rest of the country (and the world) at the moment we are in a state of flux!

    Well considering the only thing that there would be rumours about in Killenard woud be The Heritage it's hard to see what else your on about!

    Ok, to put it another way- I'm not going to fuel further speculation by trotting out (probably) the same rumours and gossip that are already circulating anyway. :D
