Need a flat entry system

Hi, I live in a flat in the UK. It is a converted house, and there are four flats. Recently, the entry system has stopped working. The doorbells don't sound and no one can buzz anyone in either. I'm not sure what is wrong or how I would fix it, but if we need to get a new system, how much would it cost? Is there anywhere…

Incidentally the actual phone system has never worked, so that although we could buzz people in, we didn't always know who they were!
