    A few:

    a) Do voluntary work.
    b) Give up cussing.
    c) Take up a martial art.
    d) Eliminate sweets from diet.

    All good intentions mind.

    1. Do whatever it takes to get the legs sorted so that I can get back playing football (the surgery didn't work unfortunately). Cycling will be the main form of exercise outside of the gym until when/if I can get back playing.
    2. Complete the Century Challenge - at least one 100km+ cycle every month in 2009.
    3. Complete at least 5 sportives with the Wicklow 200 being my main target for the year.
    4. Cycle to work at least 60% of the time (work travel/evening committments make that a tough target).
    5. Stretch goal: start cycling up stocking lane and back down as part of the commute to work.
