Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Paper / Plastic Shredder

    Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a good quality hand-cranked paper shredder. I've come across a few of them but to be honest they all seem pretty flimbsy. I want to shred some sensitive documents so a cross-shredder would be more suitable and I guess the more robust the better as I could use it to shred other paper waste.

It seems quite hard to find a good sturdy one, this one seems reasonable or you could get one of these.

Unless you have a lot of spare time a scissors isn't sufficient to destroy documents with important or private information on them.

And a fire apart from anything else isn't exactly something your gonna light in an office or even in a home.
And its not particularly wise to gather up documents until you have enough to burn.
And that's leaving out the fact that a lot of modern paper shouldn't be burnt as they have inks that release toxins when burnt.
