    10.3c - windy and a little damp.

Only 0.6mm of rain here - could do with a good fall of rain to wash all carp off the roads.

    Mild dampish, windy as hell.

Haven't seen winds like this for a long time.

Don't think Supercell will be going for a cycle today as we might see him and his bike blowing across the sky. :p:D

Horrible hell on earth very windy & wet feeling cold despite the mild wet muck conditions, Please let this horrible weather end already. A return to cold, sunny & frosty condtions would do nicely or a snowstorm... but the weather right now I cant stand.

10.3; was 11.4 earlier and very windy and wet! Cold, clear, frosty weather of last week much nicer and didn't feel much colder really.

Raining cats and dogs, no doubt under-recording because of the damn birds again too.
    2.8mm recorded so far.
Pretty dark and very windy still, on the plus side the house is toasty warm again :)
What's up with the Carlow station on the weather network - 45mm rain!!, either there's a localised thunderstorm there or the cat peed in the rain gauge!!

Where have you got your rain gauge located, in this driving wind it would appear hard for the gauge to catch much, maybe i need to find some way of securing it up a little from the ground?

Mine's on a tripod fixed into the ground with tent pegs, doesnt move at all in the wind.

Horrible day out, despite the mild temperatures, the wind still goes through you. Maximum temperature reached so far was 11.9c. Still have not got a "teen" celcius this winter thus far. Currently 11.7c. Winds vary around 10mph from the SW with a 33mph gust registered earlier. Pulses of rain from time to time gave 7.6mm so far today.

Was over on the northside of Dublin for most of the day and there was some very heavy bursts of rain every so often.

Home now and its very windy with occasional patches of rain.
