Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bit of rain during the day 15mm so far registered but have little faith in those figures, damn birds ....starting to become less than a novelty..clean one day..clogged the next..its a learned behaviour that needs unlearning..

A very wet day with 15mm registered. Windy too with 10mph average for the day. Low last night was 0.1c. Early frost cleared here. Maximum recorded was 10.3c. Not exactly cool zonality, not exactly mild zonality either... :(

Dark, a bit windy and damp in the air.

Broken up nicely, mild and bright.

Overcast and drizzly, was in Ballsbridge in Dublin earlier and the sun was out with mostly fair weather, some difference to here.

On the IWN the Co. Clare station in Quin is showing a temp of 14C and a dew point of -4.7C???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,480 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

The Athlone one is showing -6.9°C which is just wrong.
Humidity sensors seem to be the first things to go in monitoring stations which is a shame as there is no better indicator imho whether the precip coming is going to be snow or sleet/rain.

Cheers Supercell thats actually the Study window looking South there is even a better view to the East which is what I wanted to show but I need to get a network camera for that. Although the postman has delivered a filter today which should improve the picture and stop the sun blinding it

Sunny, not a clould in the sky and nothing of that matters. It is around -20C on the ground, feels like -31C with windchill. :/

Lots of snow on the ground, -6c and a bit of fog. Going to be more snow tonight and to get colder at the weekend. Now if the gas would be guaranteed to stay on this might be ok!
