    Dew points are very low today too, -5 currently at Dublin Airport and well below zero over most of the country. Some below -10 in the SE of England!

    Grass -8.5C

    All time min -5.6C, not really far from that....and with the Dp at -5C, certainly under threat. Its not totally cloud free around and if this persists and moves over, this will arrest the fall

    The year is only 6 days old and there hasnt been much rain around here so i would guess it to be correct!

    I'd imagine 2009 has been...

    Meanwhile it's dipped to -1.4c here dp-5.8c in partly cloudy skies.

    The wonders of owning an AWS. Very much possible and a lot more

    AWS -4.2C
    Screen min -4.1C (2nd lowest in Jan (since 1999)
    Grass -10.2C 2nd lowest in Jan (2002) and this before 6pm...

    There's a slight westerly breeze and temp is rising, screen up to -3.5C and AWS now up to -4.1C.
    The AWS is slightly further down field and slightly more sheltered and is a little slower than the stevenson's screen to react.

    Is this back in business?
    Screen min so far -5.0C
    4th lowest in my records (1999)
    Currently -3.4C and rising. I think its bottomed out here.
