Current Weather Conditions - January 2009

Supercell

Currently -5.7°C and has been at that for a while, veil of high cloud overhead probably preventing it falling much more.
Its still my lowest temp since moving here , old record was -5.6°C so happy as larry with that.
Roads bone dry so no ice at all, grass totally sparkes driving by it, its really beautiful. Hopefuly will break -6°C before dawn.

Currently- 4.2 here. Lovely to see everywhere so white and sparkling. too bad it has to end at the weekend. i wonder will this be the coldest night of 2009??

Got some coffee, and had another look at screen...........might be only -5.6C.......difficult to tell with torch light.....
Anyway, totally clear, the first shades of dawn appearing, A great night and morning!

This time tomorrow, I have to make trip to north Dublin. Don't fancy that and I'll seriously consider train option.

Us coastal tropical NE Dubs didn't get that low but ahem coldest Jan night here since 2004.
-1.6C(just before midnight) AWS new record low for January. Alltime low -3.4C March 2006.
-1.7C on the screen since midnight

-0.4C atm. What lovely weather, below 0C and feels nice out.

Still -4.9c down again .1c here in this part of the tundra.
Ice in the water troughs is right solid to the bottom.

Now thats something I haven't seen in a long time!
