Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, I've tried that, just for fun. In the worst case I'll have to put another e-mail address into spam-filter :)

    Thanks a lot for finding.

Ye didnt per chance read the item description? Plugs into a PC and allows you to choose your own dreams? It just might be a spoof. Maybe, now. Not saying for certain, like :)

    SPOOF for gods sake!

Even on the forums they say it's a spoof!

Did you really think they'd give those away for free?

"If it seems too good to be true, it is"

    Product code = "SPOOF004"

Seems too good to be true all right, I ordered them anyway.

Needed to register a Boffer account anyways.

i dont know - my first time using boffers and its a scam, i think my spam folder will be getting a new friend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 885 ✭✭✭kendragon

If you've used boffer before you'd know that these are just harmless spoofs... Its hardly worth getting worked up over... I mean did you honestly think it would be in a company's best interest to give away a device that, if it were real, would be able to control what you dream for free? Its just a bit of fun thats all.

    Happy New Year.

It is a legit website if thats what you're wondering

  • Registered Users Posts: 987 ✭✭✭psicic

Oh no... this is obviously a genuine product. Of course they have magicky-wagicky dream-controlling headphones to give away for free.

What makes it extra special is that the price for the non-magic version is over €100 anyways.

(I am leaving out the usual :pac: - as everyone else in this thread who has posted so far about 'scams' and the ironclad contact formed by the pressing the order button on an obvious spoof seems to have done likewise.)

Edit: just for the hard of understanding, Boffer is genuine.

I'll be reaching for my lawyer if I don't get my magic singing pills and dream headset tout suite.

The problem is, Boffer always has rubbish (/'funny') descriptions of the products they sell, even when it's a real product.

  • Registered Users Posts: 117 ✭✭Davabo

Ah well, Hopefully its genuine, you never know, The CEO could have went mad.

They do, but usually there is SOME link to reality in there!

Their spoofs are really starting to annoy me lately. The blurb is always complete nonsense but when I read this
    Description:

    1 x wireless headphones
    1 x docking station
    1 x installation disk
    1 x instruction manual

I assumed I was gonna get some free wireless headphones.

    That's just annoying.
