o2 MMS - Delay

Can anybody tell me is it normal for a several hour delay for MMS messages to be received when sent from an o2 number? I sometimes send pic messages to o2 or Vodafone numbers and they take ages, often days, before they are delivered. Very frustrating!

I've noticed it a little slow sometimes but serveral hours would not be normal. I don't use O2 as my main provider any more so wouldn't experence it daily though.
