What Heat capacity required if have MHRV?

    A quick question:

    I have decided to install MHRV as part of my refurbishment of an old house. ( as airtight as possible).

    Should I greatly reduce my heating capacity now?
    For instance, I was considering a heat pump, and may still opt for this,
    but should I go for a low kWHr capacity?

    e.g. of the MHRV efficiency is (theoretically admittedly ) 80%,
    and say allowing for a drop in 10% below that,
    does this mean I could reduce the output cvapacity of my heating system by up to 70%?

    I know new build passive houses have little or no heating system;
    as my house is 60 years old I'd be realistic about how close to passive it could be brought.

    Its a 4 bed semi, 140 m2, 2 storey, converting the attic.
    I am aiming for a B1 rating.

    COuld anyone estimate the kWhr capacity I should be shopping around for?

    Many thanks,
    H4L.
