Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was in PC World Sligo today and saw that they had console chairs (like the xbox rocker and such) for 39.99. Price before Christmas was 139.99.

I know 3 people who bought an X Rocker and all 3 returned them.. reasons include:

    a) they're extremely uncomfortable.
    b) the sound out of it is incredibly average.
    c) most of them are only compatible with standard AV connections - not HDMI.

Just to give people a quick opinion.

If it's the one I'm thinking about (it's a small grey one that I'm thinking about) then I haven't tried it. I have tried the bigger version that's wireless and it is uncomfortable. There seems to be a board in a terrible location in them. No idea if this one suffers from that. The black leather ones don't thankfully.

Never listened to the sound but I don't imagine it would be brilliant on this model given the price.

Yup. If you're hooking console up to the tv over hdmi then you won't get sound through the x rocker if you connect it to the console. I think it should get sound if you connect it to the tv but I'm not 100% on that as I have never tried it. It's an educated guess at best.

Oh! Thanks for the heads up Basquille, maybe I might think again about that trip to PC World!
