FM09 Troubleshooting Thread

A lot of threads starting about technical problems with FM09 so I thought I would throw this out. Look here before attempting to start a new thread. Below is the most common problems to do with the game. I will add new solutions when they become available.

Data Editor Won't Start!
If you get a message saying - The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Solution:
Downloadthese two and install them. Restart your PC is neccesary.
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package <_ Install first

Cannot run game: Failed to setup graphic system
Download this: Download details: DirectX SDK - (November 2008) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5493F76A-6D37-478D-BA17-28B1CCA4865A&displaylang=en

“FM.exe application error. The application has failed to initialize correctly (0xC0150002). Click on OK to stop the application.”
Fix: This can be resolved by updating the Microsoft Dot.Net framework, please visit the following URL to download:

‘FM2009 could not run as ‘facegen’ was unable to initialize!’
Fix: Please install the Patch, and ensure your graphics drivers are up to date

‘This application has failed to start because saAuditMD.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem’
Fix: Please download the file from here and place in the following folder: C: Program FilesSports InteractiveFootball Manager 2009

The problem you have is a application error and has nothing to do with FM09. I haven't a clue on what to do so your best off asking in the Computers and Technology section.

I only bothered to pick FM09 up today, but it wont load for me. I've installed it, and it won't work. I've went to games explorer as I had to do with FM 08 and clicked on 09, but it just brings me to a folder called "microsoft games" and theres nothing it that. When i put in the disc, nothing pops up either. any idea why this is lads? many thanks in advance
