What have you against Galway Piste?:( It's a nice place!

Oh I like Galway! It's a gorgeous town and I love visiting there, I just wouldn't want to move there for 6+ years.

I dont really want to go to cork either however my desire to do medicine far outweighs this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

Yeah my desire to stay in Dublin far outweighs my desire to do medicine.

Why did you assume that i was a man?

Why did you assume that i was a man?

I believe that should be I, not i.

You seem to care so much about grammar. So, I thought I'd be helpful and point out your mistake.

Yah I can see your point!
"Yah" is not a real word.

"Yah" is not a real word.

Looking through my old posts to see if you can pick out any grammatical mistakes? You certainly have lots of important things to do, don't you?

Also, "yah" pertains to a colloquial form of language; not necessarily a mistake if it was intentional.

Do you not should have been used here instead of don't you, as don't you equates to "do not you".

Do you not should have been used here instaed of don't you, as don't you equates to "do not you".

Well, it's a matter of preference, really. I'm sure if you look back at older forms of English you'll often see "don't" used as I have used it. Does that mean older styles of English are incorrect? By your standards, it must.

Anyway, I don't intend on taking grammar and syntax lectures from a person who cannot spell "instaed".

I've enough of this anyway; I've better things to do than be a pedant. Go run along and be a pain in somebody elses shoe.

My sisters half way through a humanities coarse and she is now thinking of nursing. My advice is if your already doing a coarse stick with it then see if your feelings are still the same afterwards with a degree under your belt.If your just filling out you cao now then keep your options wide open.

    Nursing is 350 in ucd.

See if you can get some work experience or speak to a nurse or someone who's doing nursing at the moment.

From what I've heard, UL is supposedly one of the best in Ireland. I'm not sure how it compares to UCD; but, it's still meant to be pretty good. (Just don't do maths/physics in UL!)
