I own 6 or 7 AC/DC albums. I would say, that's a lot of AC/DC albums for one person. (OK, they were cheap at the time.)
The only ones that ever get played with any regularity are For Those About To Rock and Back in Black. I deezered up Black Ice, and to be honest... meh.

The rest have some great tracks OK, but at the end of the day, the discs are in the same box as Iron Maiden's Virtual XI.

For me Powerage sneeks it ahead of Let there be rock and Highway to hell.
73-79 is the golden period for AC/DC, they didn't put a foot wrong.

I own only five AC/DC albums, but its more than enough for me. I might still definitly get 'Powerage' sometime soon. This is what I have at the moment:

    Let There Be Rock
    If You Want Blood
    Highway to Hell
    Back in Black
    AC/DC Live double live album

    Powerage (International LP)
I have all the Bon Scott albums,
I Brian Johnson stuff on tape but never upgraded it to CD cept for Razor's Edge
Powerage is my favourite album , although Rocker is my favourite song.
I always think Bon's voice sounds tired on Highway to Hell
I have a Fraternity CD with Bon on vocals, his band before AC/DC

73-79 was indeed a golden era in terms of AC/DC's music but, for me, the high point was 1980 with Back In Black. It's been all downhill since then pretty much.

Of the 73-79 albums, I think Highway To Hell was the most accomplished. Not saying it's the best - I like the earlier albums too - but this one was a watershed for the band. Better production value than previous albums, more anthemic and not much filler in there.

A lot of the earlier albums were very raw, sounded like the guitars were barely tuned! But still lots of good stuff on them:

It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)
    Rock N' Roll Singer
    T.N.T
    Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
    Whole Lotta Rosie
    etc etc

P.S. - One thing I noticed a few weeks back listening to both Powerage and Black Ice - very little has changed musically. The two albums sound as if they could have been recorded within weeks of each other!!

I went for High Voltage, Powerage and Highway to Hell. It's difficult to pick just 3!

    Highway To Hell
    In no particular order:

    Powerage
    High Voltage
    If You Want Blood.....

But honestly, I`d gladly list any three of the albums listed. I`ll probably change my mind after I post.

Oh.....If you Want Blood..... is the best live album ever and so is a gimme.

I don't own any AC/DC abums shockingly but Powerage is the daddy as I've heard most of it one way or another - Down Payment Blues is thier best song in my book.

    Highway To Hell
Not in the least bit ashamed to admit that I have every AC/DC album released, in all versions (Aus, Int, Euro etc) on a mix of vinyl, cassette and CD, plus over 150+ AC/DC bootlegs.

First one I bought was Powerage, and I was total convert ever since.

Not a single album that I hate, although I consider some weaker than others...but every album has at least one 'stand-out' song (usually more than one) for me.
