Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right so moving things along, I had to look it up but it was the Lancia Ardea.

Right lads, what was the first car to be offered with run flat tyres as an option?

was offered as an option on the 1994 Chevrolet Corvette??

The reason I said Corvette is that i'd researched it before as a potential question myself - I came up with RFTs having been offered as an option on the Corvette in 1994. If it's something earlier then i've no idea, i'm afraid! (Other than to guess that it wasn't Lancia.;))

No it was earlier than '94 and it wasn't Lancia, they probably weren't interested because they're a failed technology.

No it was an option (not a very popular one) on the car in question.

    The year was 1974.

I'm afraid I had to google, so not posting the answer...but I would never have come up with that!

Were they not offered on a Mini in the 70's

    A 1.3 one if I remember correctly.

Pretty sure I read that some where before.

1993? That sounds far too recent... you sure you're not thinking of back seat belts? They were made mandatory around that time-frame.
To original question - my guesses are West Germany, East Germany, or Yougoslavia... :)

I know I'm out of turn, but just to keep this one going:

The four rings on the logo currently used by Audi represent four car companies. Name them.
