Ok i know, this could be seen as being a little early but just wanted to start a thread seeing as all the rumors about christian, HHH and the rumble a foot.

So here's the promo poster...

ok so we know there is going to be elimination chambers so

It's a little early but that poster would suggest that there will be a SmackDown! Elimination Chamber (which would be a hint about the Royal Rumble) but how official this poster is is debatable and these posters can mean nothing anyway at times.

For example:

Kane wasn't even on this show, not even in the dark match.

Good example, but would the elimination chamber being on the card not be obvious?

Like that ONS from june was just a filler ppv, so obviously the poster meant nothing for it.

Me too.

Like jeff came close to win it last year, but he didnt.
This years will probably be the same for Kozlov.

But Jeff was Super-Over coming off his feud with Orton last year, I don't think many people care about Koslov.

They seemed to have plans for Koslov which they have now seemed to cool on because he isnt that good, obviously the posters are done abit in advance so maybe it is incidental

True, but all i mean is maybe they have it booked that kozlov will come close to winning, the same as jeff.

But i guess after the RR we will even get to find out what the direction for it will be.

Who is the SD! World champ then. Replace Edge/Hardy with Umaga and I'd say this will be it.

Not bad attempt imo , although i dont think they will do another Cena vs Y2J match and i dont think they will give Kozlov a main event slot yet since his last main event against HHH

Readers Kyle M. and Diaz81 have sent word that in the new February 2009 issue of WWE Magazine, on page 53, there is advertisement for the No Way Out pay-per-view and the Elimination Chamber match calling it a “Natural Disaster Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out for the WWE Championship. Jeff Hardy, Edge, Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, Triple H and The Undertaker.”

If SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber match will be for the WWE Championship then that contradicts previous reports leaked from the creative team, which were always noted to change as plans are always changing these days. It will be interesting to see if WWE sticks to what’s advertised or comes up with something else when Christian Cage is thrown into the mix

Raw might give us an idea tonight as to who will face Cena at NWO. I still think HBK might be given a shot at it. Dont really see anyone else challenge him who we havn't seen recently do just that.

I don't think Hardy/Kozlov is much of a draw tbh.

No to Candice from me. She seems to have lost it. Give her someone to manage.

HBK/JBL wouldn't surprise me.

That Kane/Orton mini-storyline seems to have died.

how are they going to decide the no.1 contender for SD if the EC match this year has the title on the line? I thought that was the whole idea of introducing the EC at No Way Out, the brand without the rumble winner's chamber victor would be who went to Mania to challenge the champ.

I guess it will be decided over a couple of weeks of Smackdown shows. Of course when i say decided i mean Triple H.

That Raw lineup is terrible! I know they're just putting Mike Knox in to continue his storyline with Rey but he's getting a title shot nonetheless, that's just stupid

I wouldn't call it terrible. First off, Jericho, Mysterio and Kane are all in there, and they are the best RAW has to offer at the moment given that Orton, HBK and JBL are all involved in storylines that prevent them from partaking, and Batista is out. Knox is getting pushed at the moment. Putting him in the Chamber is part of making him look like a big-time contender. As Jericho would say, its axiomatic that he be included. Kingdton is a bit of an odd choice, what with Punk being available and all, but it should be said that he is a former intercontinental champion who has beaten Chris Jericho. He was red hot when he left ECW, so this could hopefully be the reignition of his career.

I personally think its a better line up than last year's Smackdown chamber.
