Surprise Surprise - Octavia problem, please help.

    I've a '02 Octavia 1.6l petrol 102bhp.

    Curently I can drive it after it's been resting up (overnight say)... after engine heats up and I have a few miles on the clock - - If I slow down at a junction for example, I lose power (throttle/revs) and car cuts out.

    Car will just about start again once but then splutter and misfire to heart-braking cut-out.

    At this point car will not start again unless it has rested for about an hour or so but will cut-out pretty soon again.

    Anyone any ideas????

    p.s. Mgt. light is on and I've had a reading - there's no signal from the Speed Sensor.

    My mech. seems to think it's one or both of the Temp Sensors??????????
