L1 - maching gun or police compute?????

I bought the latest GTA for PS3. After itial doubts about gameplay i'm loving it(mostly), even if i miss the 'cartoon' madness of previous versions. I do not have Gta IV but generally its a tap or hold matter. It might be that your holding it instead of tapping it.
