Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi my computer open every time windows starts

    anyone know how to stop it

    i'm using windows vista

    the fix if u dont want something opened is to close it :)


    click start - run and type msconfig.
    go to startup.
    see anything in there that would open my computer?

    I am using Windows XP, and the same thing started happening. My computer opens every time I start up windows.

    Reloaded Windows, instead of fixing it, now "Photo Gallery" insists it wants to install itself over and over and never finds itself.


    Anyone got a clue?:confused:

    I think he means "My Computer".

    Maybe it's the Welcome Centre in Vista.

    Ok, here's the scoop.

    Start up the pc, Windows loads, then the "My Computer" window opens. Been happening for a couple months. Unknown why.

    Reloaded Windows, now in addition to "My Computer" opening, it also continuously tried to "Install photo Gallery".

    Any clue as to what might have happened?:confused:
