Five or six cars were involved in a pile-up on the main Waterford-Cork road this morning shortly before 9am.

The crash was near the village of Kilmeaden.

The crash has now been cleared, and AA Roadwatch says the N25 has been fully re-opened.

Frost is always very bad on roads coming out of Kilmeadan, especially on the Cork side of it where the sun doesn't shine on the road until late in the morning
