Galway Speed Limits?

    Does anyone know what the speed limit on Circular Road is? I drove on it a few nights ago and was looking out for a speed limit sign but didn't see one..
    I would imagine that it's 50kmh, but can anyone confirm this?

    Also, am I correct in saying that the speed limit on the Coast Road is 80kmh?

    As far as I know, the circular road is 50kmph - must be a residential zone.

    The coast road is also 50 as far as Barna, but changes after that i think.

    Circular road must be 50km/h as it's within the city boundaries.

    Which coast road? If it's Oranmore, then that's 100km/h until just before the village.

    If it's Spiddal, then I think that it starts out (once outside the city) as 80 then down to 60. Not sure though.
