Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was up til 4am playing SSFIITHDR last night after downloading it :o. Before I turned my Xbox off I wanted to check my Xbox points balance, but as I'm only new to the Xbox, I don't really know my way around it to find my balance, so I went to buy a game to see what my balance was, the the first game I think is 1942, so went to buy it so I could see my balance, so seen my balance was 900, but I pressed the "Buy" button by mistake and the game downloaded . I was never asked to confirm the download, I just mistakingly pressed the wrong button once.

    Anyway out of this? :o

    Thanks in advance :)

Ye, have read on some other forums of people doing this and MS just saying tough s***.
Its bad, but maybe just stay away from the marketplace that late at night!

I think the best bet is if you get points, plan what you are going to buy first, then put in the code, buyy the stuff, then you cant waste points by mistake.

Yep, sign into xbox.com and then go to the marketplace:

Same thing happens when you're picking a gamertag. If your username isn't available like mine wasn't, it gives you suggestions and I accidentally pressed A on one of them and I was never able to go back. Now I have a ridiculous name that no one can pronounce.

Without going into the whats and the wherefores of the situation, the same kind of thing happened me.

You can pay 800 (I think) points to change your gamertag name - I did.

It is a complete rip off, but was worth it in my opinion!

On the Xbox marketplace, you can buy MS points with which to purchase games. You can buy them with credit card on the marketplace or in shops like Game and Zavvi.

One Hundred points is about the value of a Euro.

So yes, the games cost money, in the form of MS "points".

    Happy gaming! :D

I reckon they're a fair bit cheaper unless you can track them down for v. cheap second hand.
I'd buy loads myself but I only have the 20GIG hard drive
