Anyone out there know where we can recycle Christmas trees in Galway city? I'm in Knocknacarra.

Looked on the Galway Co Co website and they only have a list for towns in Galway county but none for the city.

    Cheers!

The county council don't have responsibility for the city, you need the city council:

Take your Christmas Tree to a City Council recycling point - call 536595 for details

Theres a pen on Grattan Road and thats where folks are bringing the trees.

There used to be one at Hunters Caravan Park beside Silver Strand filling station. I am not sure if that is in use now that the Park is being upgraded(?)

As you are in Knocknacarra Hunters Park is open but is only open during business hours! so if you miss that then Grattan park is open late.
