Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stove Hercules 30b vs Golden Country 30kW?

Has anyone come across or put in a stove called "Golden Country". It's comparable in output to the Hercules 30b but hasn't the full features e.g the stainless "slowburn" top air inlet.

I'm considering purchasing one of these stoves; the Golden Country one is coming in a fair bit cheaper (sale price increasing the difference also!), I'm trying to weigh up whether it's better going for the expensive one or not - i.e is there enough features/performance to justify the extra few hundred.

My understanding from talking to the sales people on both stoves is that they're both made from cast in China; the Golden Country is designed by a crowd in Tipp I believe.

Any opinions & info greatly appreciated!

This is probably better off in home appliances. Moved from Construction & Planning.
