    Hi,
I'm looking for reasonably cheap semi solid or solid wood floors.
A dark colour - maybe walnut.
Anyone any ideas? (free fitting would be even better)

Irwins in Castleblaney are very reasonable.
Don't know if they'll fit them for ya though.

ok now technically this isn't a wooden floor........ it's grass lol

Bamboo flooring - it's dark in colour and unusual looking but it's very nice. You can buy it in b&q but there are ppl out there selling it for half the price of them!

I can't imagine you'd ever get an offer of free fitting!?

Fitters usually charge more than the cost of the floor itself, don't they?

    (Sorry for going off topic)

You could go to homebase and tear a few of the boxes up. Leave and return later to get them at a discounted price. It's not the most honest thing in the world, but they'd still be making a profit off them so everyone's a winner.
