    Hi,

I've read the sticky on travel insurance already. there only seems to be cover for up to 13months?

My brother is heading off travelling soon worldwide, and sensibly wants insurance. How can he get cover if he is heading for up to 2 years? And are they all that expensive (as in 500euro, which i know isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things, but still)

Anyone have anywhere they can recommend, Ive looked at BOI, AIB and the others in the sticky, as well as USIT, altho I ve had bad experiences using them before.

And regards top ups, how does that work if it exists?

    All advice appreciated:)

    Try www.accidentgeneral.ie
I have a 2 year policy with them that cost around 450. That was for the highest level of cover so you can probably get a slightly cheaper policy from them.
