    Hi,

    I am facing the prospect of being unemployed.

    How does rent supplement work. Would you get it on top of you job seekers benefit?

    I am currently living in a house where I pay the landlord cash every week. so that will be no good if i am made unemployed as I wouldnt be registered.

    So I am thinking that I will now needed to move out and into somewhere that is registered so if I get laid off at least I will have some way of getting rent allowance
