Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I presume you are going to take account of the fact that Rafa is a rubbish manager, Liverpool have a cr*p squad, and I don't actually personally think they are going to win it?

I'll give ya 10 quid if United win the league, you give me 1000 if Liverpool win it. Come on, seriously. How can you refuse that?

75% Possession and 21 shots at goal.

So 21 shots. A lot of them didn't trouble their keeper and from what I remember a lot of them were speculative attempts from distance. This is all added to the fact you really only caused them a problem when their player got sent off. Was all the possession in key areas? No. Stats mean very little in such circumstances.

Stoke created some good chances againist you lot also let's not forget.

If you consider United to have been convincing v Stoke, well, you're off you rock mate with that view. Like I said United were going nowhere up and till the sending off.

Stoke destroy a team's ability to play football and we(as have many) suffered espically without the best player in EPL this season in Xabi Alonso.

but do you really believe we can be there at the end of the season?? really believe it deep deep down?? i would love to say yes but its just too hard to believe it tbh..

and the truth is(unless there is dramatic improvement) that even if we do win the league it has been less than convincing so far and im not sure we would even be 2nd favourites for the title next year..still 3rd or 4th(behind villa :D)

I would say no, I don't fancy them to be there at the end. But I temper my expectations, by taking into account other things, which are beyond my control. Results that happen for other teams. The squads that other teams have managed to build. The revenues that other teams get by having larger grounds, and better worldwide management of their merchandising. The experience of other squads, the experience of other managers in the league.

So, when I take all of those things into account, I want Liverpool to give a good stab at a title challenge. Right now, they are doing that. We are going to bed tonight 4 points clear at the top of the league, and nothing else matters tonight.

its twice as bad when its in the club threads tbh, there would be a trollfest in the PL matches thread, the Utd thread & the Liverpool thread.

At least now the bellends are just in here.

Boggles and Ntlbell are contributing nothing to this thread, other than trying, with varying degrees of success, to wind up Liverpool fans and, along with one or two other, thanking each others "hilarious" posts.
If it's not trolling, i don't know what is

Anyway, on topic, weird that Keane wasn't brought on today given the circumstances.

I've never heard that particular phrase used, sorry. And I don't think Bohs fans are on TV all that much so I doubt you have either. Better get onto Sky about that 1 and tell them you won't be renewing your subscription if they don't sort it out.

To be honest there's only one stat that matters coming out of the game and it was that United scored and Stoke didn't. Therein lies the difference.

Thought the game was a decent game a football today for a 0-0 draw but can't understand the decision to not play either Keane/Torres. Liverpool badly needed something up front and whilst Kuyt will run all day and hassle defenders, he lacks real pace or creativity that you get from the likes of Torres. Fair enough if he's not 100% fit but I'd rather start him and see how long he lasts and then replace him, by then he might have gotten a goal.

its an incredible position, where the 3 top teams are all regularly playing hilariously bad football.
